The brioche of the best burger makers.

For home

Buy brioche buns for burgers

Briox is a bakery that bakes for burger restaurants, so almost everything you'll see here talks about boxes and restaurants. But the question that brings a lot of people here is simpler: can I buy this bread for my home? Yes. You order it in the samples category of the App, and you don't need to have a business.

Can I buy brioche bread as a private customer?

Yes. Inside the Briox App there is a samples category designed for exactly that: trying the bread without committing to volume. Anyone can order there, whether you have a business or not.

The rest of the App —the catalogue by the box, the pallets, the invoices— is for the food service trade, and there you do need a business account. But the samples are open.

Which bun do I choose if it's for home?

The rule is the same as in a restaurant, and it fits in one sentence: the bun and the meat are measured the same. Meat shrinks between 10% and 20% as it cooks, so you choose by the diameter it will have once cooked, not by that of the raw ball.

For the classic home burger —a ball of 120 to 160 g— the spot is the 10 or 11 cm. If you like the smash, a low, wide one. If you build double meat and cheese, a tall one from the HIGH range, which takes the weight without splitting open.

How does it arrive and how long does it keep?

It arrives frozen y already sliced: no need to open it with a knife or get the cut right.

The buns come in bags of 4 (the HIGH ones, 6), in a protective atmosphere. That is what lets you take out one bag and leave the rest of the box untouched, instead of defrosting the whole box.

And the tip that makes the biggest difference: run it over the griddle or the pan on the cut side, thirty seconds, before building. It is the cheapest step and the one that changes the result the most.

Quick questions

Do I have to buy a whole box?

No. The App's samples category exists precisely to order a little and try it.

Can you buy at the bakery?

There is no selling at the bakery. Everything goes through the App or, if you have a business, by talking to us.

How long does it take to defrost?

About 2 hours at room temperature, inside its bag. Overnight, better still.

And if I don't have room in the freezer?

Unfrozen it keeps for 15 days with the flowpack closed. Plenty of margin to spare.

What's the difference between POTATO and SUPREME?

They're the two house doughs and you choose by what goes inside. It's explained in the bread guide.
